This programme is provided for health professionals with an interest in education and who already have at least some experience of teaching. The Certificate provides a useful theoretical and practical background for those hoping to make education an important part of their role. All types of health professionals find this qualification useful due to the need for them to be teaching colleagues, juniors, students and professionals from other disciplines.
Unit 001 has a value of 20 credits, and is a core compulsory Unit. Units 002, 003 & 004 have a value of 10 credits each, and are also core compulsory Units. Students may then select one addition 10 credit Unit from 005, 006, 007 & 008.

Although shown here as a single year, students can take up to three years to complete the PG Certificate and/or PG Diploma.
To be eligible for the award of Certificate or Diploma students must achieve at least 50% in each unit. Minimum mark for a distinction in any Unit is 70%.
