The aim of the module is to provide a detailed insight into the range of activities covered by ILS, the tools and techniques available and examples of the practical application. On completion of the module, the delegate should: Understand the reasoning behind the development and contractual application of ILS; Understand the activities of ILS and how they are used at all stages in a product life cycle; Understand the methodologies, tools and techniques applied throughout the ILS process; Understand how to tailor the ILS process to suit particular applications.
