Description including Unit Aims

Many biologists use molecular biological techniques and approaches to investigate and answer specific biological questions. Thus, molecular biology is used by scientists who would not describe, or consider, themselves as molecular biologists. This unit will demonstrate some of the diverse ways in which important biological questions can be investigated at a molecular level. This unit will therefore explain how the molecular techniques covered in BIOL 20005 (Molecular Methodology for Biologists) can be applied to modern biology.
