This unit is at the heart of the EngD in Systems Engineering. It develops understanding and awareness, as well as dealing with specific generic tools, in the softer aspects of systems engineering. It introduces the philosophical underpinnings of Systems and Systems Thinking. It deals with the personal skills required to provide leadership and manage change. It introduces Problem Structuring Methods.
