This unit develops the introduction to inorganic chemistry given in CHEM 10100 to provide those aspects of inorganic chemistry required for advanced study of Chemical Physics at Levels 3 and 4, e.g. basic transition metal chemistry, solid state chemistry and applications of NMR spectroscopy. Practical sessions and workshops are integral to the unit.
