This unit covers areas of physical chemistry relevant to advanced study of Chemistry with Environmental Science, e.g. aspects of statistical mechanics, electrochemistry, solid state chemistry and the properties of liquids, solids and surfactants. The unit includes trouble shooting workshops and practical sessions to develop advanced techniques.
