Description including Unit Aims

This unit brings together the various skills that a well trained chemical physicist employs. There are exercises in problem solving requiring the application of basic knowledge of chemistry, physics and numeracy to unseen questions. Students will participate in all the activities expected of fully contributing members of a research team - attendance at seminars, contributions in group meetings etc. Students will develop their presentational skills through oral and written reports of their research project (CHEM M0670).
