This provides a 10 week laboratory-based programme in basic conservative and orthodontic manipulative techniques. These include the design, preparation and filling of cavities in teeth under simulated clinical conditions using a phantom head and also covers the fabrication of a simple, removable orthodontic appliance designed to effect tooth movement.
