An introductory inorganic geochemistry course covering the formation of the elements, origin and differentiation of the Earth, and the fundamentals of chemical bonding and thermodynamics in understanding Earth Sciences topics applied to solids, aqueous solutions, gases and melts. This is followed by an introduction to the application of isotope geochemistry as applied in age dating and tracers in Earth Science.
