Description including Unit Aims

This unit provides an introduction to the principles and application of stable isotopes and tracer compounds in Earth System Science. It covers the fundamentals of analytical approaches, and explores various applications in past climate reconstruction, climate modelling and understanding contemporary biogeochemical processes.
