This unit gives a year of industrial experiences in the candidate&)s chosen industry. During their industrial experience they are expected to get an understanding of the methods of design, the methods of analysis and product development. Where relevant the methods of manufacture used in their chosen industry will also be studied. The students will improve their competence at making both oral and written reports.
