The aim is to introduce the student to CAD and to applications and current industrial practice in the subject. This unit consists of the following: CAD Project - The principles of product visualisation and customisation are exploited through conceptual design of an automatic chip sorting machine using the Faculty CAE facilities and the supporting report.
