This unit will focus on the insitutional architecture of the European Union, the policy-making process within and between the core insitutions and the relationship between the EU, member states and third countries. Students will be expected to make an active contribution in seminars, to prepare and deliver presentations on selected topics and to complete the standard 3500 word assessment.
