Students take elements: Oscillations and Waves (21), Fields (18) and Essential Maths for Physics (24) with associated tutorials. The unit builds on A-level Physics A2 and puts the concepts taught in school on a firm mathematical footing. Students will be brought up to a level of understanding and knowledge that will enable them to continue with studies in these areas in the year 2 Physics programmes.
