Description including Unit Aims

This unit is completed during a clinical placement period of one year, in which the student will experience and gain competence in the practical clinical skills required for registration as a competent practitioner within Audiology, as defined by the Professional Bodies and laid out within the Clinical Placement Log Book.

Aims:

To provide the student with the opportunity to achieve clinical competency in a wide range of routine tasks within Audiology, within an extended period of supervised training.

Intended Learning Outcomes

By the end of this unit students will be able to demonstrate a range of competencies within the Electronic National Audiology Clinical Practice Portfolio and Key Professional Skills Portfolio.
