Description including Unit Aims

This unit will enable practitioners to deal with complex issues both systematically and creatively, make sound judgements in the absence of complete data, and communicate their conclusions clearly to specialist and non-specialist audiences. Participants will gain an understanding of the concepts and methods of adult rehabilitation and develop a complex range of specialist skills in aural rehabilitation including the use of equipment, communication training and problem-solving.
