This module is designed to offer the student theoretical and practice experience in the referral criteria, taking, processing and interpretation of intra and extra oral radiographs. The course complies with the term &�adequate training&� as specified in the ionising radiation (Medical Exposure) regulation This includes the effects of ionising radiation on the tissues and the importance of quality control and quality assurance.
