Description including Unit Aims

This unit provides a comprehensive grounding in the fundamentals of Earth System processes. It covers the functioning of the global climate system, including atmospheric and ocean circulation, addresses the interactions between the living and non-living components of the Earth system, and provides an overview of biogeochemical cycling.
