Description including Unit Aims

This unit consists of three elements: An introduction to the techniques of Software Engineering, the structured design of software written in C and C++ and a practical application of C programming using a DSP system. In the laboratories, students will carry out exercises using Visual C++. Each exercise is designed to familiarise them with the topics covered in the lectures. Students, working in groups of 2, will receive a mark at the end of each laboratory task.
