Description including Unit Aims

This unit aims to introduce students to a series of different problems posed by the question of the relationship between literature and political history during the period in which centralising monarchy was a major issue in Castile. Texts from the reigns of Enrique IV, and the Reyes Cat�licos will be studied in the context of the issues of succession, centralisation, treatment of minorities, and authority.
