This unit focuses on the models, tools and techniques that are employed to achieve lasting organisational change and transformation. It is often said that up to 70% of business change programmes fail to deliver benefit. The unit investigates the reasons for this by seeking to understand business change at the systemic and mind-set level. It challenges accepted wisdom about change, particularly the &cookery book&/&tell and sell& approach to change, and explores the significance of situational context as a lever for change.
