This unit will build on existing knowledge of Czech grammar and vocabulary, and passive skills developed in the first year of Czech study, with the central objective of improving freedom, range and accuracy in written and spoken Czech. Particular emphasis will be placed on vocabulary-building. The linguistic and cultural content of the unit will be designed to prepare students for their time abroad in the Czech Republic.
