Description including Unit Aims

The unit will explore a number of inter-related themes. These will include an exploration of a variety of conceptions of God's being and interaction with the world from theism through to Trinitarian and eschatological approaches. Particular attention will be paid to the inter-relationship between our understanding of God and the ethical, cultural and political implications of the Christian faith. A number of contemporary theologians will be investigated, illustrating different emphases and approaches.
