Description including Unit Aims

The module will focus on a series of historic Confessions and the contemporary systematic theologies of James McClendon and Stanley Grenz. It will examine the methodologies they employ and the different ways the major doctrines of the Christian Faith are expounded. The connections between faith, discipleship and the Church will receive special attention. This will be done through reflection on both method and content, and in comparison with other patterns.
