As a focal point in the life and witness of the church, worship is an event in which Christians believe that God is encountered and in which the church expresses its faith and interprets its life and witness. This module will include: 1. an exploration of worship from a variety of perspectives including evangelism, pastoral care, the community of the church, spirituality and the nurture of disciples; 2. a study of the relationship between theology and worship; 3. a study of worship practices and their implicit spirituality; 4. theological reflection on the practical planning and leading of worship.
