Description including Unit Aims

This unit engages in biblical and theological reflection upon current global issues. It provides resources from the Christian ethical and theological traditions for creative engagement with and critique of contemporary political and moral debates surrounding these issues. Through study of globalization and key Christian concepts such as stewardship, justice, sin and love, students will learn to analyze and respond to current major global issues such as war and violence, poverty, health issues, economics and the environment.
