This unit will introduce students to the study, recording and interpretation of building remains and standing buildings of all periods. As well as a brief study of the development of building technology and materials this unit will also involve the analysis and interpretation of excavated building remains; the methodology for recording standing structures and the interpretation of the use of space within structures.
