Description including Unit Aims

When interpreters pass the meaning from the source message to the target language message, they call on well developed cognitive and linguistic processes. This unit examines the research literature which leads us to an understanding of these processes. It will also develop a method of self analysis and technical analysis of the performance of sign language interpreters.
