This unit is intended for dental practitioners wishing to increase their theoretical knowledge and experience in the treatment planning and oral healthcare of elderly people. Knowledge is developed using distance learning elements and study days. The aim of the unit is to produce caring, knowledgeable and skilful practitioners competent in the provision of oral healthcare for older people.
