Description including Unit Aims

An introduction to analogue and digital electronic circuits for non-electrical engineering students. The first part of the unit deals with the basic concepts of electrical circuit theory, DC circuit characteristics, reactive component, frequency domain representation, and the design of circuits. The second part provides an introduction to digital systems, both combinatorial and sequential, and their design.
