Mathematical Modelling helps students to improve their skills in mathematical modelling, and improve their understanding of mathematics and their oral and written communication skills. For students of Engineering Design, it introduces them to the design process as practised by engineers. It gives all students an experience of a group situation in generating a new engineering concept or design.
