Description including Unit Aims

Students in their Second Year (Level 2) taking the Single Honours History of Art Programme who have successfully completed the first semester at an American university may, subject to approval by the Department, elect to study for the second half of the academic year (January-May) at the same American university under the terms of the exchange agreements operated by the University's International centre. Normally four courses (equivalent to Bristol units totalling 60 credit points) will be taken, and the grades obtained converted to their Bristol equivalents for the purposes of degree classification. The Department has an established exchange with the Department of Art at the University of Richmond, Virginia, USA.
