A period of residence abroad equivalent to the whole of the University of Bristol academic year in a Spanish-speaking country either studying at a University or similar institution or working on an agreed placement. During this time a dissertation of 12,000 words must be written in Spanish on a topic to be chosen in consultation with the personal tutor.
