This unit seeks to provide a multidisciplinary examination of theories of attention and consciousness. Evidence from psychological and physiological sources will be reviewed and areas of convergence and divergence will be highlighted. Extensive prior knowledge of physiology will not be assumed. The unit consists of twelve 1-hour lectures and one 1-hour tutorial. It has one compulsory essay.
