Description including Unit Aims

The first part of the course teaches participants to prepare and analyse the three main financial accounting statements - the Statement of Financial Position, the Income Statement and the Statement of Cash Flows. The second part introduces students to the production and use of financial information for the management of a business and for making long-term financial decisions. It assumes no prior accounting knowledge, other than that gained in Introduction to Accounting A.
