This unit develops physical chemistry from the base of CHEM 20130 to provide the coverage suitable for an Honours chemistry graduate e.g. aspects of statistical mechanics, reaction dynamics, electrochemistry, solid state chemistry and the properties of liquids, solids, colloids, surfactants and molecules at surfaces. The unit includes workshops and practical sessions to develop advanced techniques.
