This unit extends the areas of inorganic chemistry given in CHEM 20310, relevant to chemical physics e.g. the applications of group theory, crystallography and structural inorganic chemistry, and advanced spectroscopic methods in inorganic chemistry. The lecture courses are supported by practical sessions and workshops.
