This in vivo training unit will involve the following components: 1. Modules 1-4 animal licence training course: Students will complete a Home Office approved training course and assessment to obtain the certificates to apply for a Home Office personal licence. 2. Ethics, 3Rs, anaesthesia and pain management, animal welfare and in vivo experimental design and statistical analysis seminars and workshops. 3. Hands-on practical course in in vivo neuroscience techniques and their application (as described in detail in the attached document). 4. Course assessment.
