Description including Unit Aims
This unit provides the experience of sustained private study of a subject of choice, involving practice in marshalling material from a variety of sources, and its structuring and presentation, together with the formation of their own critical analysis and judgement.
Aims:
- To enable exploration of a subject of choice in the fields of theology or ministry.
- To document a well structured and informed critique of the subject
Intended Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of the unit the student should:
- have considerable detailed knowledge of the subject of choice
- have been able to identify relevant material and issues,
- have clarified their own position on the questions raised by their study,
- be able to defend this by clear exposition, argument and/or presentation of evidence
