VPH unit represents a third of the final year examination in Clinical Veterinary Science. The overall pass mark for VPH is 50%. In order for a student to pass his/her final year BVSc examination, he/she must pass VPH. A student who fails VPH will normally be expected to re-sit only that unit. The final examination will also include discussion on material from pathology, microbiology, epidemiology and farm animal medicine that has been taught within other units of the BVSc studies, as well as material related to VPH clerking.
