Description including Unit Aims

This Unit introduces student to the frontiers of research in neuroscience topics in order to develop their intellectual and scientific skills and understanding. The unit teaches general principles of research methodology by dealing in detail with how specific research issues are addressed in neuroscience. The unit also teaches transferable skills, including numeracy, literacy, information handling and scientific competence.
