This unit develops the introduction to theoretical chemistry given in CHEM 10100 to provide the essential base of theory on quantum mechanics, structure and bonding required for advanced study at Levels 3 and 4. 'Practical' sessions, mathematics tuition and workshops are integral to the unit.
