Description including Unit Aims

The year abroad is spent at an approved European University, attending teaching and assessment for approved units, of which at least 2/3 is mathematical. Relation to Other Units

The year abroad for the G101 BSc programme, MATH20003 is similar, but at Level I/5 (but still taken in the third year of study).

Assessment Information

Students must attend all assessment offered at the foreign university. If the students fail units abroad the departmental Euro committee will require students to submit written course summaries for assessment in the resit period in September. Further information is in the guidelines (see above).

Award of credit points:

Credit points will be awarded if the unit is passed, that is, a mark of at least 40 is assigned.
